Baby Booties

I recently found myself in between knitting projects and felt rather lost. I decided to try a pattern I found on the internet. Isn't this bootie just adorable!! Those little flaps will get attached with buttons eventually. Most of the ones I've seen are really classic looking, but this yarn (my in-laws picked it up for me in the Netherlands) makes them look fun and spunky! I'm working my way through #2. I'll post another photo when they're finished!

Jen, those look great--a perfect use for that yarn. They might be cute and comfy even for older kids, maybe with some kind of gripper sole on the bottom.

So glad we persisted and finally managed to find that yarn shop in Nijmegen. With all the sheep we saw grazing, we thought there would be many yarn shops. Maybe we just didn't know where to look.

Thanks for all of your sweet comments, everyone!

Emma, I've learned to pick projects that only take a couple of weeks otherwise the same thing happens to me. I get bored and leave projects unfinished!

Can I order some of those? Seriously. Maybe in olive green?

Hi Jen...I just stumbled on to your blog (via Megs and Alan's). Just wanted to say hi and hope you and Kevin are doing well (tell him I said hi, too!). I've bookmarked your blog and will check it. Feel free to check out mine, too. I think you'll be able to access it from my comment.
