It is so crazy to think that a year ago today I was anticipating the child that I would be holding in my arms that afternoon. Here he is a year later. It has gone by so fast. He is already not such a baby anymore. He is becoming my little boy.At a year:
His favorite foods are bananas and cottage cheese. When they are gone, he cries. He'll eat just about anything (except noodles. no idea why).
He walks everywhere. He looks unsteady, but he isn't.
He loves people (especially guys) and has no fear of strangers.
He will try to kiss your cat (quite the opposite of his sister).
He loves to read our little animal sounds book or our Wheels on the Bus book or Each Peach, Pear, Plum.
He has hair just like his Daddy's (but without all the curls; we're still hoping they show up someday).
He loves music (all kinds) and looks like he's conducting when he gets really into it. He stands by the stereo and starts dancing and clapping when he wants us to turn some on.
He says, "banana", "nigh-night", "no touch", and "hush".
He is such a snuggler (which I LOVE).
He sucks his right thumb and is attached to a knit blanket that is blue, brown, and white.
He is very self-motivated and persistent.
He is so good-natured, happy, giggly, and fun.
We love you, Toby! Happy Birthday!
