This is the cabin we stayed at this year "Peace". It was a four bedroom and very spacious. It was perfect for us and even had a huge porch with a baby gate by the stairs! We love staying at the YMCA of the Rockies. They have beautiful grounds and lots of facilities and amenities (although truth be told I feel like we hardly take advantage of them because we spend all our time hiking in the national park).
Our hike to Bierstadt Lake started a little wet. Kevin was the only one of our family with any decent raingear, so the rest of us had to make do. Elinore's was a custom fit! We decided that this is our white trash picture!

Kevin, I, and the kids spent one morning in Moraine Park just playing along the creek. The kids needed the freedom just to play and run around. I think they could have stood there throwing rocks in the river all day!
