The First Few Weeks

Here are some photos of our first few weeks. I can't believe he's already almost 3 weeks old. It sure goes fast! Elinore is such a great big sister. She loves helping me bathe him, put blankets on him, she brings me diapers, she brings Tobin toys,... She has been really great.

We're all adjusting pretty well. I'm still pretty sore - trying not to do too much but wanting to be out walking and doing things. Nights have been going pretty well, he seems to be figuring out his days and nights. I remembered that the first couple weeks are not fun, but I forgot how much you just wait for them to pass. It will be nice when our lives get a little bit back to normal.

Tulip time is this week, so we're hoping to get out a bit and enjoy that. We made it to watch some dutch dancing (which Elinore TOTALLY loved) and we went to Kinderplatts this weekend. Kinderplatts is full of stuff for kids: a petting zoo, inflatable obstacle course, crafts, inflatable bouncing things, big slides, Kevin had a giant boa draped over his shoulders, Elinore climbed through an ambulance. It was a lot of fun!

Now we're gearing up for my sister Laura's graduation from college this coming weekend. Congrats, Laura!!
