Sorry if you've been waiting for more news of our little one. Recovering from a c-section has been much more difficult than a regular delivery. I haven't felt much like sitting at the computer. All went well with our birth. The OR team was running behind, so the worst part was being all prepped for surgery, being totally anxious/scared, being more than ready to have my baby and then having to wait around until things started. I was so scared I was trembling when the took me into the OR. It was a very strange experience feeling pushing and pulling, but not feeling any pain. About five minutes into it, there was our little baby boy. It was SO good to have him, and know that that part was over.
Tobin Peter is great. He likes to suck on his hands (when he can find them), he is sleeping great (although fussy in the evenings), he has perfect soft skin, and I love it when he snuggles against my chest.
Elinore seems to be adjusting well. She always wants to know where Tobin is. She loves to give him hugs and kisses and cover him with his blanket. Today she helped me give him a bath.
I'm healing well, although I'm not doing too much besides sitting around. I would take a vaginal birth over a c-section any day just for the recovery. Thank goodness for pain meds! Thanks for all of your prayers, visits, warm wishes,... We're grateful for all of the support and love we have received.

GREAT pictures! I can tell you are so in love with your new little guy. I hope you feel okay and it gets better every day that passes. We are so anxious to get back and see you guys and meet him!

Praise God for such a miracle.....babies always make me ponder His greatness more and be in awe of how He created us!
