Here in Holland we are once again celebrating the annual tulip festival. Somehow the tulips have survived the warm spring and look beautiful. It was a nice warm sunny evening, so

we decided to walk downtown to eat carni food. Italian sausage, corn dogs, the biggest onion rings you've ever seen, fresh squeezed lemonade, and carmel apples to top it off. After eating we walked through downtown to where they have the carnival rides set up. We met up with Mom and Dad Wolthuis and Brian, Amy and their kids. Then off to Centennial Park to watch Dutch Dancing. It couldn't have been a more perfect evening. I'm so glad we went tonight. I think it is supposed to rain this week. Maybe it will be sunny for the big parade on Saturday. Kevin actually said tonight that this is his favorite week of the year (Tulip Time that is). I thought for sure growing up in Holland he would be sick of it, but I guess not. I think he just likes the food!
