Good

So I was kind of annoyed at Elinore today. Lately everytime we are out she has to go to the bathroom. I think she really likes public restrooms which drives me totally nuts. The first thing I say when we go in one is, "Don't touch anything!" although they are probably cleaner than mine...

Anyway, we're at the grocery store today, and she has to go (even though she went right before we left the house). I was annoyed (a couple times she pulled that and then didn't go, arrrgh!). It means leaving the cart, toting both kids and diaper bag into the bathroom stall (which is halfway across the store, mind you). I can't set Tobin down, so I'm trying to help her with one hand...

She went, and as she is finishing she says, "I went, Mama."

I responded in (I admit) a bit of a loud sarcastic tone, "Good!" We were the only people in there and it echoed a bit.

"Mama," she said, "you said 'good' and it made the bathroom talk, too."
That made me laugh.
