Well our exciting news of the day is that we had our ultrasound today. It is always such an amazing time. I am awed that we have machines that can see an unborn baby in such detail. We could see the heart beating, the sections of the brain, the little kidneys, arms, legs,... Wow. The big news is that we are having a BOY!! We were pretty sure that it would be a girl, so we were surprised! Elinore, however, knew all along. We should have listened to her. The technician gave us some photos and she put some video clips on a disc for us. I thought this video was so cool, so I wanted to share it with you. It is only 2 seconds long, but you can see the baby's little leg kicking, and I could feel him kicking as I watched it on the screen. It was cool. Enjoy.
On another note, we are potty-training this week. I'll spare you the details, but Elinore is doing AWESOME! She is having a great attitude, and we have hardly had any accidents at all. What a little trooper.

It has to be all caps: CONGRATULATIONS!!!... either a little boy or a little girl is such wonderful news, but I'm always excited to hear baby updates, and now you can start thinking about boy names, and boy clothes, and boy toys, and it will be totally different from the first time around... which will be cool.

How wonderful...great news! That's such a surprise, since it sounded like you were convinced it was a girl! Give Elinore a high five for us too :)
Yay! Nice to know who's on his way. I still advocate for Alexander. You can call him Lex, or Alex, or whatever. The Great. Hahahaha. Anyway now I can actually access your blog without a proxy site so I'm really excited. I'll be able to comment when I want to! Woohoo! xxoo, nen
