A Wedding

This past weekend we celebrated the wedding of Kevin's long time friend Jeremy. We all really like his new wife Lindsay and are so glad to have her join the "circle". Kevin, Dave, and Derek were the groomsmen which gave me a chance to spend time with the ladies (Amanda and Liz). We had such a wonderful time. Lindsay is a bold enough woman to do things with a unique perspective. She wore white feathers in her hair, there were peacock feathers in the bouquets, and she wore a 40s style dress. The Grand Rapids Jazz Orchestra played for the reception, mostly swing with a live vocalist. It was so much fun. The weddings of good friends are always the best. We left Elinore with her first babysitter (outside of family), and everything went great!! As Janet left she mentioned that Elinore had had a poopy diaper, so there was a little poop on the changing pad and on her clothes which she had set aside. No big deal, I'll just throw them in the wash. She said we could definitely call her again. Later I began to find clues as to how big this poop had been. It must have been a massive explosion. Poor Janet!! I can't believe she said we can call her again after that. What a good sport! Well, hopefully Jeremy and Lindsay are having a wonderful time on their honeymoon, and we're back to life as normal.
