Three Years

Yesterday was our third anniversary. As Kevin said while we were at breakfast, "A lot has happened since then." He's so right. Maybe we'll always feel that way no matter how much time has gone by. However, I think these last three years have been very significant. They have been the adjustment to a new way of living. Getting to know each other, learning to live with each other, learning to maintain a house, preparing for and having a baby. So many big changes. When you get married, you think that you are at the pinnacle of love. Even in the midst of that, Kevin and I talked about how our love would grow over the years. We knew that it would as hard as it was to imagine. Now, three years later, our love is so much bigger, so much richer, so much more all-encompassing. And to think that we are still only at the beginning of it. It is mind-boggling and exciting!

Anyway, we went out to dinner last night to celebrate. We went to the Restaurant Toulouse in Saugatuck. We simply loved it. The food, service, atmosphere, everything was excellent. We had a wonderful time. We recommend it to all! And today is the first day of year 4. Here we come.
